Connection to many different device type: you can connect effortlessly to your old device or new smartphone running Android or Windows (or any other embedded PC operating system).
Longer shifts & less charging time: longer battery life (up to 30 hours) means more time between charges. Quick charging cradle reduces charge time (just 40 minutes to 80%).
Short or long scanning distance: 4.6 cm to 437 cm, depending on barcode.
Comfortable: the glove adapts easily to different wrist sizes.
Easy and fast repairs: spare parts available directly from ID Services. If the trigger must be repair it is easily removed via the connector screws. This makes it possible to repair without returning the whole device, unlike competing solutions.
Save repair costs: ruggedized to IP68 & IK8 specifications. Even if scanner becomes detached from glove, it is still connected to the ring trigger so cannot fall to the floor.
Superior Bluetooth performance: V1.2/Class 1 (100 m range). BOTG minimizes power consumption, yet covers much greater distances than competing solutions.
Various usage positions: can be worn on the wrist, or the back of the hand - easily adaptable.
Main Features
Performance: the Budgie OTG was designed to withstand rigorous use and deliver outstanding data capture capabilities in a wide range of environments and working conditions. In addition, our engineers placed great emphasis on minimizing power consumption- the Budgie OTG delivers over 30 hours of continuous use on a single full charge (at least 15 hours at -4°F/-20°C).
Ergonomic design and maneuverability: two mounting positions allow operators to work "hands-free" and grasp objects or needed items- even to reach inside parcels or trolleys if necessary.
Customization: special attention has been given to making the Budgie settings easily and quickly updateable via scanning configuration barcodes. Special label-related IT requirements, and different end user preferences, can be configured within just a few seconds.
